When & Where
We Worship
prayer hands
Worship is the heart of what we do and who we are.  We gather together as a community to celebrate and give thanks to God, and to pray and ask for God’s healing.  As we participate in Christ’s banquet, we are nurtured and empowered to go out into the world in witness to God’s reconciling love.  The congregation's deeply felt connection to the Ministry of the Word and the Holy Eucharist is evident each Sunday in the reverence and enthusiasm which our lay ministers bring to our worship.
We worship each Sunday morning at 10am, celebrating the Holy Eucharist (usually Rite II).  Morning Prayer is occasionally held when our priest is on vacation and supply clergy is unavailable.  Holy Days tend to be more “high church” at the Church of the Annunciation, but we would probably best be categorized as “broad church”, and we’ve had the opportunity to appreciate and enjoy the variety of liturgy in our Book of Common Prayer during our interim period. Special services are planned throughout the year.  Youth Sundays are held every other month, when the children and youth of our parish take on the lay ministry roles for the day.  See the calendar for special upcoming events -  both spiritual and social.

Our Worship Committee, consisting of the rector, a warden and lay people, work cooperatively to plan special services and discuss matters relating to our litugical worship.
