OUTREACH
ACTIVITIES
We empower our parishioners to demonstrate God's Love through ministry and service. Outreach is a large part of Annunciation's ministry.
2005
witnessed a large increase in our charitable giving to organizations
outside our
Church. In part, this was due to
increased interest as well as more disasters, international, national
and
local. In total the Parish family
contributed
over $7,300 to these various causes.
Our
contributions are directed to both local and international
destinations, helping our neighbors both near and far. The
Annunciation family has actively sponsored through monetary gifts and
volunteer efforts to the following:
Contributions to the Rectors Discretionary Fund;
Habitat
for Humanity;
Starfish;
Shelter
Our Sisters;
The homeless shelter at St. Cecilia’s
Church in Englewood;
North
Porch including diapers, toys, and baby items collected on our
Mother’s Day baby shower for North Porch;
Center
for Food Action including 39 bags of non-perishable groceries
and 8 frozen turkeys;
Disabled
veterans at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington including
blankets, phone cards, clothing and supplies;
PARKS in Paterson which included toys for the children of prisoners;
